The course uncovers the basic business analysis activities in a software development context. There are three main chapters covering knowledge areas essential for an effective business analyst. The first chapter provides an overview of the business side with its goals, objectives and needs. The second chapter explains how an enterprise software is built by moving through the software development lifecycle driven by the development methodologies. The third chapter introduces the tools and techniques which business analyst can use to translate customer needs into requirements and manage the requirements appropriately.
The program includes:
- 9 face to face 1.5h classes with the instructor in EPAM Systems facilities;
- 5 home tasks;
- 2 tests, entry and exit.
Upon the successful exit test the students will proceed with the trial period with the focus on the practical part in the BA Lab.
